In the late 1980s, modern settlement projects were initiated in this village. In the 1990s, Turgut Özal had TOKİ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) houses built, and new ones were added in 2005. The housing areas created in the early periods consisted of stages. Altay Neighborhood, one of the first neighborhoods created within the mass housing project, covers the 1st Stage area, and Şehit Osman Avcı Neighborhood covers the 2nd Stage area.
